I grew up in a small western Massachusetts town. My interest in books came from my mother who faithfully read stories to me every evening. This created a love for reading and later for writing. I am now pleased to be able to write for others to enjoy.
I am the mother of four children, a grandmother and great-grandmother. I feel blessed and my family is a great joy to me.

Here are some of the places that my husband and I enjoyed traveling to, during the 43 years we were together. He passed away ten years ago. I miss him and the wonderful places we were able to see together.
We took several tours from Perkins Cove in Ogunquit, Maine
Here is a Cranberry Bog in Carver, MA and below is the Edaville Railroad in Carver. We rode on this twice with our four children.

We also went to Lake Onota in the Berkshies of Massachusetts. The leaves were gorgeous, as they were reflected in the water.

This is Ogunquit Beach in Maine, our favorite place. We spent many long weekends here when we were both working.
This is a beautiful lighthouse on the southern coast of Maine. We climbed to the top and looked out over the ocean. There were many sailboats and a large Ferry Boat in the distance. We later took an overnight ferry from Portland to Nova Scotia (below)

This is a picture of the 'Freeman Farm' at Sturbridge Village. This was our favorite place there. We watched the animals in the pastures and barns and talked to the homemakers working in the house, doing the chores that were needed at that time in history.
My husband and I watched this saw mill being built at Sturbridge Village. We came down several times that year. He used to love to stand there and watch the mill as the sawing was in process.
These are some of my favorite books from my childhood...
